If LUV is one of the greatest LUGs in the world then I don't think that LUGs are going so well. Does anyone keep stats on how LUV attendance has changed over the years? I get the impression that we aren't doing nearly as well as we used to. Some people claim that it's the availability of support on the Internet that has decreased the attendance, but the number of people using Linux has significantly increased too. We are now using Meetup to advertise LUV meetings which has apparently done some good.
