I currently am on the Telstra Members plan, which is (per month):

Tablet:
* $10 a month basic plan, no phone calls or SMS included.
* $10 a month 1 GB data.
* no contract

Phone:
* $20 a month, limited phone calls and SMS included
* $10 a month 1 GB data.
* -$5 first 12 months contract, rebate.

Which is suitable as I don't make many phone calls. I am still on this
plan, without any contract, and believe I can exit at the next billing
period.

However, I can't find this plan any more on Telstra's website. Anything I
can find costs more. So I have a suspicion that the Members plans may not
be available any more for new users. Either that, or they decided to stop
advertising it.
