Sure, but Russell didn't remember what he wrote and to which I was referring. Anyway, it's clear to me at this time that systemd is turning out to be a problem of the scale of Windows 8. Perhaps that's not fair, but perhaps it is ... only time will tell. I know that I don't want to be wasting my efforts on something that is destined to become a bad part of history and I hope that systemd goes that way, the sooner, the better. In effect, if I was able to, and I know that I can't, then I would be saving Russell plenty of wasted time; of course I could be wrong and it wouldn't be the first time -- but I'm not enjoying how this is panning out as a Debian supporter.
