NDIS wrappers only work with Windows networking drivers, so it won't help you with any other kind of device: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NDISwrapper Always research specific models for compatibility before purchase. Your best option at this point is to take the MFP back for a refund or exchange on the basis that it doesn't work with your OS.
