I may have confused 'kindness' for 'service' above. I think the Telstra Tech. 
I've been dealing with
has just 'lent a hand' and fixed my socket on the wall. I'm beginning to think 
that the Network
Boundary Point has always been a termination either somewhere on the outside of 
the house or on the
yard/street boundary somewhere.
