I'm part of 2 jitsi meets, and have had mixed success. I set up a group
on the public server. Generally 5 or 6 of us get 2 hours with few
dramas. We've learnt that if you get a problem, just hang up and rejoin
the meeting. Takes a minute or so, if you keep the link handy.
The other has been hosted on a private server and I can only get chats -
no audio nor video, using either firefox or chromium. Last meeting was
on the public server, and all went well. From memory there were 9 of us.
The last LUV meeting I went to was at Uni Melb. There must have been 100
people in the lecture theatre. Yes easily 10 years ago. It's a 90Km
trip, a good 90 mins by the time the tram crawls up Collins St then
Swanston St. And trains home were an hour apart in those days.
