My understanding is that they're certifying an increasing range of their systems as compatible with Linux.
I don't know what this precisely means, though, or whether they've published an up to date list of supported devices.

The HP Dev One has received positive publicity lately. Unfortunately, however, it appears to be available in the U.S. only, according to what I've heard.
I currently have Linux installed on a Lenovo ThinkPad P51 (the version with the Xeon CPU). I haven't tested it thoroughly for hardware support. The only confirmed problem is with the fingerprint sensor, for which there is a driver, but my efforts to use it weren't successful when last I tried.
