iirc they just skip. My usability principles are a bit rusty but I think 
it's better to let the user know that a file was skipped if we can do 
that. Opening a directory with the intension to view all files and just 
one shows could be a bit awkward. I am not sure what path would be the 
best here, as long as it's not the ugly error box we have now I think we 
are close =)
