Just installed viewnior_0.6-1~ppa2~jaunty1_amd64.deb and gave it a head
to head swing with gpicview (0.2.1).

Image viewing is not what I spend most of my days doing so I might not
appreciate the goodies in there but I like the UI of gpicview better.
With the discussions we had about doing changes to make gpicview even
more none-intrusive I have a hard time seeing a switch to an application
that adds more clutter to the UI.
What extra brings the menu bar for me?
 - can I hide it?
Why do I need those big icons in the toolbar?
 - placing the toolbar at the top rather than the bottom I tend to like
though. A legacy from the Windows father in GPicView I guess.

I would rather want to see a merge than a discontinued gpicview for now.

And that is just out of the question.
