LXDE doesn't provide the tools you are looking for, but there are a some
apps that are lightweight and use GTK, so they fit into the LXDE desktop
quite nicely.

* Notecase: http://notecase.sourceforge.net/ (*not* Notecase Pro)
It's discontinued too, but still works fine.
* CherryTree: http://open.vitaminap.it/en/cherrytree.htm
Lots of features, but stupid installer scripts
* Gjots2: http://bhepple.freeshell.org/gjots/screenshots.html

* Alarm Clock: https://launchpad.net/alarmclock
Has some GNOME deps (GConf). It used to be a GNOME panel applet,
was converted into a standalone tray icon on 0.3.0.
* Alarm clock: http://alarm-clock.pl/
Tray icon, no GNOME deps.
Some more suggestions:
* Xpad: http://mterry.name/xpad/
Sticky notes in GTK, requires a patch [1] to work with GTK >
2.18.
* Dayplanner: http://www.day-planner.org/
Nice Organizer with reminder and sync functionality, written in
Perl
* Osmo: http://clayo.org/osmo/
Small but complete PIM suite

Christoph
