- alarm-clock https://launchpad.net/alarmclock : I tried v 0.9.11.2-1 and
found it awkward to use. (Compare Tea Timer which lets me start a timer in
two clicks.) I see that alarm-clock 1 will be a rewrite, though.
- Emacs & Org-mode (http://orgmode.org/): Emacs looks like it's for
hardcore Linux geeks, rather than newbies (like many LXDE users) or even
semi-geeky people like me. But when I get to a LUG I ask if someone can demo
it for me.
I tried installing Osmo, but had dependency problems... I'll update my
distro within 2 months (to the new Debian-based CrunchBang) so I'll give
them all a go then.
