So I have done a quick read up on the Tx problem and I think the solution is here. http://help.transifex.net/user-guide/one-dot-zero.html#creating-your-local-settings
This is realy ugly but if we WANT TO still use Tx I think we can script it. Use the Pootle box as a i18n middle ground. The git clones are already there. And hooking Tx to those looks like we do a "tx pull" to get the updates from transifex.net, and "tx push" to notify about updates (not too common). I already do stuff with cron notifying about builds in the buildbot and so on. Conclusion: + it's absolutely possible. - it will be butt ugly - it might cause some more administrative tasks for me (or someone else) - it will almost certainly not have the nice trackability of the updates, all changes in a big chunk just. if it's up to me to solve it I am not too keen in doing it. if the community is 100% sure that Tx is the new black I am not a show stopper. it's solveable at a cost. can someone hook me up with credentials so I can play around and see for real how hard it would be to script these things? -- /brother http://martin.bagge.nu Whitfield Diffie and Martin Hellman use only their surnames out of fear of Bruce Schneier ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Lotusphere 2011 Register now for Lotusphere 2011 and learn how to connect the dots, take your collaborative environment to the next level, and enter the era of Social Business. http://p.sf.net/sfu/lotusphere-d2d _______________________________________________ Lxde-list mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/lxde-list
