Hi, During the last days, I take some time to commit the changes I made on Ubuntu on dedicated branches for each component I touched. It included : - some changes to the build system (adding silent rules (hiding *FLAGS), additional flags ...) - some compiler warning fixes - fixes in preparation for GTK & GLIB 3 - Adding features already included in Ubuntu (ex: font config for lxappearance)
You can find the result in the branches below : lxsession: http://lxde.git.sourceforge.net/git/gitweb.cgi?p=lxde/lxsession;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/gilir-fixes ldm-gtk-builder-greeter: http://lxde.git.sourceforge.net/git/gitweb.cgi?p=lxde/ldm-gtk-builder-greeter;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/gilir-fixes lxappearance: http://lxde.git.sourceforge.net/git/gitweb.cgi?p=lxde/lxappearance;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/gilir-fixes lxappearance-obconf: http://lxde.git.sourceforge.net/git/gitweb.cgi?p=lxde/lxappearance-obconf;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/gilir-fixes lxrandr: http://lxde.git.sourceforge.net/git/gitweb.cgi?p=lxde/lxrandr;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/gilir-fixes I also begin a branch of lxpanel, with GTK/GLIB 3 fixes, + some patches on the bugtracker. It's still a work in progress : http://lxde.git.sourceforge.net/git/gitweb.cgi?p=lxde/lxpanel;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/gilir-fixes I'll be interested to have feedback about this. My experience in C/GTK/Glib is quite short, so any comments are welcome :) If those types of changes are OK, I would like to extend them to others components, and if possible, directly in master branch :) Regards, Julien Lavergne ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Forrester recently released a report on the Return on Investment (ROI) of Google Apps.
