Thanks for bringing this to the mailing list. I was not aware of the
fork. Considering there is no current maintainer on lxpanel, all
development done on lxpanelx should be done directly on lxpanel.

About patches and fixes, the usual way is to post them to the lxde
bugtracker, and not to keep them in the distribution. I didn't see it,
but maybe it's already done ?
