But are you sure gtk will accept those re-formatted files without any
problems? I think there was a reason to remove spaces and newlines from
the files in the first place (so making .ui from .glade files). And also
I don't think .glade files are ever deprecated too but they rather are
text/xml files which glade produces but .ui files are the same files in
compressed form (without spaces and newlines).
