Have you installed the latest lxqt-common package? Do you have any error messages if you run pcmanfm-qt from the console? The font is controlled by the Qt platform theme plugin, but our plugin is incomplete and did not implement font handling. I tried to implement that, but after that, all of my Qt programs hanged. The platform plugin support of Qt is completely undocumented and there is no tutorial for it. I have to read the source code of Qt to figure out how to do it correctly and this takes much time. There seems to be some weird behavior of the Qt platform plugin mechanism as not all of the settings are applied. The Qt4 plugin has similar issues. Working with Qt platform plugin is a real pain, but I'll try to workaround the problems.
