Thank you for your replies, Jerome and Andrej. Alt-F1 is helpful. However, I couldn't find a place in or around the start menu where right-clicking would provide access to any shortcut-related settings.. but that is no big deal, Alt-F1 was a good step forward in keyboard accessibility. :-)
