Hi Tobias

Thank you. This sort of feedback is indeed very helpful.
Most of these are known issues but I wanted to give you some specifics below.

> - a search in program menu ("start menu")
This is a known issue: https://github.com/lxde/lxqt/issues/101

> - drag an drop of programs to desktop from program menu
Any form of editing of the main menu is much harder than it looks, but
this is a known issue as well.

> - moving/rearrange icons on desktop freely and without dialog
Thanks, also a known issue but has been fairly low priority for whatever reason.

> - graphical weather widget on desktop
We decided this is outside of LXQt's scope. There are separate apps
that can do that.

> - editor to set default program for every file type
It's a bit primitive, but we have one.

> - CPU widget for the panel is missing
Not sure what you mean, we have one.

> - there is no graphical task manager like kysysguard
We tried partnering up with the author of qps. Unfortunately he hasn't
really taken care of the app. We may end up forking it, but we have
enough things on our plate as it stands right now.

> - there is no quick user switch
Yes, this is a known issue, although it's been a bit low priority. I
filed an issue: https://github.com/lxde/lxqt/issues/380

> - user icons aren't shown in login manager
I have no idea what you mean.

> - all settings are cluttered and should be unified and centralized
This is quite vague, can you elaborate?

> - file manager should remember the settings (list, details, etc.) permanently
Known issue, yes. Thanks.

> - in the console, the tabs buttons look ugly (minor thing, but to make the
> gray button flat black too would be a good idea)
Don't know what you mean here either

> - for most parts there is no German translation
Known issue, yes. Our translation system isn't great right now.

- "start button" is too small
That's very subjective. There's settings to add text to it if you prefer.
