Why? Maybe there is a way to enable KDE widgets without loading the full
KDE in background. And this is a very basic function. The code should
aready be available. I remember screens with razor-qt and widgets. So

At least it should work...if it works on the main targets it's better

If you open several tabs in the lxconsole you'll see the gray buttons...
(well only a minor visual bug).

BTW: you can ditch the default clock. World clock is way better and can
do everything of the ordinary clock in the panel.
