As for Debian Jessie release - it got every recent release of every LXDE component at the moment of freeze, and recent fix coming into lxsession 0.5.2 is also included into package 0.5.1-2. The LXPanel newer than 0.7.2 will be not included into Jessie but will go into jessie-backports when time comes for it. The package lxpanel 0.8.0-1 should also appear in the Debian experimental repository shortly.
