Just being the mentor is a monumental task. PCMan can tell you more about it as he was mentoring one person some years back. The foundation stuff with sending applications and those things are fairly easy in comparison. Being the mentor is the hard and time consuming part. It's a very good thing to do though. Just do not forget the mentoring part and what it takes from the mentor.
