Hello friends: I would like to discuss with you the future of the lxqt-panel systemTray. As you must know the traditional implementation is made using xembed this is no longer supported in Wayland or Mir. Now the KDE (1) and Ubuntu (2) guys have an alternative for this "Status Notifier" and "Application Indicators". So I would like to know if there is someone working on this topic? Also what approach is he/she taking? Are we going to combine all then in the same implementation? Are we going to make separate plug-ins?
