Hi, after a successfull migration from Gnome to LXDE, I'm now looking for a similar improvement in my mobile life too; ie. I need a smartphone desktop which allows me to remove all the mobile cr*p I don't need nor use. Currently I've a Samsung S3 mini with Android OS with many crappy Google apps. Their sole existence seems to collect information about the user and pass them to Gogle. That thing is full of software I don't need. Unfortunately it is not possible to remove the unneeded programs, one can stop them, but after a few hours all are again running...
I'm looking for ways on how I can improve my mobile situation. Does there exist a smartphone with a normal OS like Debian or Ubuntu, and something like LXDE as desktop? No need for "swiping" etc., a classic desktop GUI like LXDE is more than sufficient for my needs.
