Yeah, I was wondering too. There are some demonstrations where Linux can be running alongside on the smartphone, ie. Linux as an app under Android, like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFulMBNvjZA but I need to get rid of the Google apps. I want use classic desktop apps on the smartphone, ie. mainly phoning, SMS, and mailing, and WebBrowsing. Unfortunately CyanogenMod and OmniMod seem to mimick the Google way, as they seem to target braindamaged idiotic kids, not professional users. I think I need to find a different smartphone solution.
