Greetings,

A few years ago,i created a project that offers a Qt/C++ front end to
libsecret, kwallet and in internal secured storage system backed by
libgcrypt and i named the project "lxqt wallet"[1] because i wanted
the project to be a part of lxqt effort to offer the best light weight
desktop environment.

I made the request at the time when razor-qt and xfce were merging to
lxqt and things were kind of all over the place and my request was
neither rejected nor accepted and i though of reasking again when
things have settled down and i think the time has come for me to ask
again and will appreciate an official response one way or the other.

I am perfectly content with continuing with the project as an
"independent component of lxqt" but it seems distro packagers wants to
package it as a part of lxqt and this made me ask now rather than at
some other point in the future.

Will be more than happy to make any changes to the project to make it
look and behave more like official lxqt packages if requested.

A quick show of the library in use can be observed in my latest
project named "cryfs-gui" and the library is used to offer feature
number 4 in the first release feature list:

Thanks.
