[Lxde-list] LXMusic Volume Control and Tools Menu Not Working

I have LXDE installed on Debian sid. The volume control in LXMusic 0.4.7 
does not work. When I first used it, the control displayed muted, even 
though the audio was coming out of the speakers. When the volume control 
was raised or lowered, it had no effect on the volume coming out of the 
speakers.

In addition, selecting the Tools menu, is not displaying any selections 
(attached).
