Well, I did part of that (the title as displayed has leading/trailing blanks trimmed). I didn't think about the "a,d" situation, but it would be simple to do.
completely trimmed, so that when I press "a,d" I won't have to edit anything at all. (^A and ^E help, but still a tedium.)
