That web page is deliberately and very effectively blocking the lynx browser even to the point that upper-case q to forcibly quit lynx fails to work here using the panix.com version of lynx which is:
Lynx Version 2.8.8rel.2 (09 Mar 2014)
libwww-FM 2.14, SSL-MM 1.4.1, OpenSSL 1.0.1p

Subject: [Lynx-dev] Problem using XING - linux

Hi,

lynx 2.8.9dev1 (and other versions) on current Ubuntu or Debian systems
cannot display https://www.xing.com .

The command
lynx https://www.xing.com
results in an empty screen and the message:
A'll cookies for domain 'www.xing.com' allowed.

No key strokes are excepted now. Only ctrl-c helps.

The temporary file /tmp/lynxYYYY..../l....html.gz
seems to be not complete. I tried a gunzip.
I cannot identify any problems when scrolling through the lynx.trace file
created by -trace command line option.
Any ideas?

Thanks, Klaus
