I changed the user-agent to w3m and encoding to none and did log into
m.facebook.com but the page is a mess links inaccurately labeled and
search for groups so far as I can tell doesn't appear on that page.

What does it consider outdated? Those that are less fit for passing
advertizing on? Ever more of these websites, I understand, demand ever more
accurate information about their subscribers, to the end, I understand, of
delivering relevant advertizing to them. LYnx is not fit for such use.
