that's a better way of putting it (smile).
so maybe an alternative is to erect barriers along the sidewalks
(a la England) to prevent people crossing elsewhere: ie Lynxwise,
refuse to accept an URL of the above form, with an appropriate message.
but LP's approach (in his reply to you) should still work, shouldn't it?
