Err, haven't posted here in a LONG time (about 3 years) so got some
catching up to do.

To combat the /tmp prob would there be any chance of a ~/.lynx directory
instead? (by default that is. I know how to set everything manually to do
this in the lynxrc)

Just a suggestion, so that all the files are there: .lynxrc, .lynxcookies,
a swapspace for the currently browsed files (instead of /tmp). It would
make my ~/ look tidier :)
