Yikes!  After sending that last msg, I realized a difference - I 
have been building lynx as a 2.6 binary for users that haven't 
converted yet!

I will experiment with building lynx patch 20 with Solaris 2.6 
and a fresh build (With 2.8 libraries and include files) on 2.8 
and report back soon.
