Lynx has it's own routines for handling CJK (predating _realistic_ UTF-8 support by 10 years or so). Especially for J, the fine tuning in Lynx is quite remarkable. To take advantage of some CJK features, you may want to compile Lynx with the configure option "--enable-cjk," but all that's needed to view CJK is to set your display character set. OTOH, simply using "Raw" (toggle with '@') might work well with UTF-8. I'd be interested in your findings, so hope you'll report back. __Henry P.S.
