I am often hacking away at preamble or included files, then want to prompt
LyX to run LyX for an update.
It seems that, sometime in recent versions, more "intelligence" was
introduced to LyX's detection of whether changes have been made to the
text. Now, instead of just hitting the space bar harmlessly and ordering
updated Postscript, I must make an *actual* change -- and accurately undo
it later. Otherwise, LaTeX is not run and the most recent dvi is simply
piped to gv.
Or is there a way to force LyX to rerun the LaTeX?
