Hi all!
I'm trying to get LyX to work at my new job, now on OSF1 4.0
I get reproducible crashes with 1.0.3pre2 (xforms 0.88, Xpm 3.4.8):
If I start LyX when other applications take alot of colors and LyX uses
a private color map, it crashes when I load a file:
BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)
X Error of failed request: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)
Major opcode of failed request: 3 (X_GetWindowAttributes)
Resource id in failed request: 0xcc00080
Serial number of failed request: 6
Current serial number in output stream: 7
I tried to run it from gdb, but then it wouldn't crash, but the screen
display of lyx is grey on grey (i.e. nothing visible at all). But there
are tons of error messages:
In XErrorHandler [xsupport.c 174] XError: 9
It seems to run w/o problems when it gets enough colors. Known problem
(I couldn't follow the list in the last weeks). Some additional info
you need?
