Not fully yet. We discussed several things in private mail and I sent him also
my latest patch.
Absolutely perfect support for Armenian isn't possible due to the structure of
the ArmTeX-package.
When somebody could finish the patch attached to bug 3043

things would be a bit better as it would then be possible not to call babel. But the current
implementation to call LaTeX with English as language option that is later overwritten is an
official advice when babel should be used. So we don't make anything wrong here.
The new layout and template file covers the problematic case when Latin and Armenian characters are
mixed in one document - there is no other solution due to the armTeX-package structure.
So from the language and encoding side the patch is ready to use with the infrastructure we
currently have.
But what about the lyx2lyx encoding problems I reported today?
