Hi,

When loading a document after starting up LyX, the following
happens quickly after one another:

      - the document is copied onto the 'canvas'
      - the canvas goes blank and the main menu is updated
from "no_buffer" menu to "buffer" menu.
      - the canvas is rewritten with the document text

This makes the canvas blink for once. I can live with
that, but I wonder whether it's necessary.
If it's just a matter of reversing two operations (first update
the menu, then the canvas instead of opposite) would make this
behave a bit nicer.

Regards,

Rob.
