Wherelse should it go? It's somehow related to view (although an

Have you noticed that the underlines are troublesome in a few cases:
1) Except for the Submenus in Menubar, all other underlines are
absent for Submenus. For example "I" is not underlined in:
[...]
Menu "file"
[...]
Submenu "Import|I" "import"
[...]
2) When the underline is not for the first character of the
keyword, it's also absent, for example in:
Item "New from template...|t" "buffer-new-template"
Item "Exit|x" "lyx-quit"
3) Despite an earlier email that the underline problem with
the Menubar was solved, it still occurs. The underlines
are still initially absent and appear only after I've moved
the pointer over them. When I iconize and de-iconize, the
underlines are gone again.....
Any ideas where the culprit(s) is/are of these nuissances?
