I don't think so. Context menu on right-click is pretty much a standard
and LyX should do that do. If you think that the additional step
required by the menu is too much, then we could implement the same
behaviour with Ctrl-left-click or Shift-left-click (and even describe
the mouse shortcut in the tooltip and in the context menu).
Besides, the context menu will be _very_ useful for labels and
citations, trust me ;-)
