In order to be able to compile, I had to change the clone() method as follows
void clone(FileName const & rhs)
{
fi = rhs.d->fi;
canonicalFilename_ = rhs.d->canonicalFilename_;
}
but, I'm sorry, it didn't solve the slowness problem with child documents,
at least on Solaris.
