no that backtrace is from the tree, which doesn't contain 0 hack anymore.
anyway Richard hit the nail on the head in between - the problem was most
probably due to the linking with old object files after autotools update
and fresh checkout works...
We should perhaps add this to our bug reporting comments: If you are
seeing the bug in checkouts from svn, then you might want to try a fresh
checkout.
