Now same problem with the attached. I get $\mbox{\ensuremath{\comp}\comp}$ instead of $\mbox{\ensuremath{\comp\comp}}$.
Also, I was surprised to see that when I enter \textit,\mbox,... it gets wrapped inside a \text environment.
