OK I guess I should avoid the phrase "best effort" then. I just wanted
to signal that although we would do our best to not use their real name,
it is understandable if sometime a mistake was made.

I've seen situations where we say different things on the same topic.
That is why I think it is nice to have a proper discussion, get our
opinions out in the open, and figure out our position so we don't have
to keep coming back to it. Putting it in the Development.lyx doesn't
mean we won't change it. But it gives us a starting point that we can
tweak if needed.

But I'm not sensing there is much support for having a rule on this, so
I'm going to hold off.
