ok Andre I see what's happening. Our attempt to set the symbol font is failing (and all other fonts). So only the symbol font is mis-displayed, as you mentioned that mathed assumes smymbol font is available.
So mathed is behaving correctly I think, we have to investiagate why
setRawName is failing in QT
