I'm using the lyx-version 1.1.2, and haven't checked newer versions yet,
but I doubt this bug has been fixed:

in the latex-preamble I have included "\mag=500" in order to get more
text onto my sheet of a4-paper. as the papersize I therefore used twice
the size of what will get printed out. for the dvi-file this works great,
but the print-command does stop to work since dvips gets passed some -T
option to explicitely specify the (wrong) papersize. specifying a lower
papersize again does create page-breaks in the wrong places, so that only
half the paper-size gets used.

please inform my per email when lyx does support the \mag directive, as
I am not subscribed to this list, and an upgrade doesn't make sense for
me until this feature has been added. until then I'll keep printing from
the command-line...

strangely I seem to remember that some older version of lyx didn't have
that problem, but unfortunately that binary isn't binary-compatible with
the glibc I recently installed, and I don't have the sources, nor the
bandwidth to waste on downloading them...
