Hi,
I'm using a freshly-compiled lyx 1.5.0rc2 on Ubuntu 7.04. When I launch =
lyx from a terminal, the message "Locale en_CA could not be set" is =
printed. This may or may not be relevant to the problem I'm having. When =
I type some text in lyx and try to view the output as dvi, ps, or pdf, I =
get an error window that says:
"Font T1/cmr/m/n/10.95=3Decm1095 at 10.95pt not loadable: Metric (TFM) =
file not"
If I click on the error message, more diagnostic output is printed to =
the lower half of the dialog box:
" \fontencoding\encodingdefault\selectfont
=20
I wasn't able to read the size data for this font,
so I will ignore the font specification.
[Wizards can fix TFM files using TFtoPL/PLtoTF.]
You might try inserting a different font spec;
e.g., type `I\font<same font id>=3D<substitute font name>'."
How do I go about implementing these suggestions?
Thanks,
~ Eric.
