Hi, The file can be viewed as a PDF alright. But I looked at that CTAN website for the appropriate ecrm download, and when I try to download it, all I get is a white text screen with no download happening.
I am using Windows (dual booted with Virtual Box on a Mac) and my distribution is MiKTeX. I also tried Livio's suggestion of document -> font and choosing the LM family, but that didn't seem to work either. This is nevertheless strange because the ec fonts are the standard fonts and thus are by default available on all systems. What is your OS and what your LaTeX distribution? However, viewing the file as PDF should work in any case. regards Uwe
