translation for 'table' is the most appropriate?

If you look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Optimality_theory for
inspiration you will see that English and German uses the French
"Tableau" but for example the Dutch page uses "Tabel" which I assume is
straight translation of the English "Table".
