Thanks for your answer Pavel. Well, I don't think this is a good example of LyX/(La)TeX powers. IMO I don't see much difference of how I use lists (with bullets or numbered) in LyX and other word processors. Actually, other word processors are just more flexible, but for a simple listing, with default spacing, they behave the same way. Don't they? And hey, I know what's an environment in LyX. :) I was asking what's the related LyX environment we were talking about in the indicated sentence. I think I wasn't clear in my question.
