A: I'm on a Mac; which may have something to do with the "carbon" download 
working better for me, with no crashes so far.

B: Reconfigure appeared 5 times in the LyX drop-down menu on the extreme LHS of 
the LyX toolbar; they appeared below About. [No, I don't mean the Help menu. 
Help is located at the extreme RHS of that same toolbar (that I refer to), but 
I am not referring to it. To be clear, the toolbar that I'm referring to reads: 
LyX, File, Edit, View, Insert, Navigate, Document, Tools, Help.]

C. My current LyX program has a single Reconfigure in it (located as 
explained). But I have not worried about that yet.
